Hello, my name is Joseph “Joe” Mark, candidate for Gwinnett County Sheriff, I’m a dedicated lifelong resident of Gwinnett County. I have a deep connection to Gwinnett County and a strong desire to bring about positive changes. Over the past 25 years, I’ve gained invaluable experience in the military, law enforcement, and the private sector, which has shaped my open-minded approach to leadership. My main objective is to build trust and cooperation between law enforcement and the community. As the prospective Gwinnett County Sheriff, I envision a department that prioritizes transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to the community’s needs.
I firmly believe in treating every resident of Gwinnett County with respect and dignity, regardless of their race, religion, or socioeconomic status. I advocate for law enforcement officers to exercise their authority with compassion and respect while serving our community. I deeply value the unwavering dedication and commitment of these officers, and I emphasize the importance of supporting and respecting them.
In addition, I am committed to being tough on crime while ensuring that the rights of our citizens are protected. Upholding the law while respecting individual rights and freedoms is of utmost importance to me.
